Principles of operation
Oxyterra
Before starting the procedure, the patient is hypothetically tested to determine individual sensitivity to hypoxia and, according to the data obtained, the machine automatically calculates the recommended oxygen concentration for subsequent hypoxic training.
The standard therapy regimen consists of five stages: 5 minutes of hypoxia and 3 minutes of hyperoxia for a total duration of 40 minutes.
Regulated therapeutic hypoxia (range 9 - 16% oxygen) alternates with subsequent hyperoxia (range 30 - 32% oxygen).
The patient lies relaxed on the couch and breathes through a mask, a pulse oximeter is placed on the finger. All information about the procedure is displayed on the monitor of the device.
Thanks to the possibility of starting the manual setting mode, the specialist can change the standard therapy mode depending on the condition, age and preparedness of the patient.
Course of treatment includes 15 to 20 sessions, in chronic diseases 20 to 30 sessions of therapy are recommended. It is recommended to repeat the course in 3 to 6 months.

  • Change in oxygen concentration (Hypoxia; 9 (optional) - 16%. Hyperoxia: 30 - 32%)

Safety usage
The patient's condition is monitored automatically throughout the entire hypoxic training, there is a constant update of the pulse and the amount of oxygen in the blood.
If the normative indicators are exceeded, the device automatically increases the oxygen content in the inhaled gas mixture, and then prompts the doctor to make changes to the training program or keep the existing settings.
The gas mixture is cleaned in the internal circuit of the system, where the air is heated to 170℃, which allows it to be cleaned of bacteria and microorganisms.
